ORDER. On July 23, 2026, the Court conducted a pretrial conference. Plaintiff appeared through counsel, Conly J. Schulte and William Blake Follis. Defendants appeared though counsel, Wendy A. Lynn. Alex Hoskins, on behalf of Defendant United States Department of Health and Human Services, also appeared. After discussion, the Court determined the parties are motivated to resolve this matter, if possible, before the filing of dispositive motions. Toward that end, the Court sets the following deadlines: (1) By no later than 8/14/2026, the parties shall each email a confidential report to the undersigned's chambers regarding their exchange of settlement offers, which the Court anticipates will be completed by this date; (2) The deadline for the parties to participate in a settlement conference with a magistrate judge is 10/1/2026 (see ECF No. 48); and (3) The deadline for the filing of dispositive motions and motions challenging the admissibility of expert testimony is extended to 10/19/2026, with the parties being advised this deadline is unlikely to be further extended.
