THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Defendants Crypto Medical Clinic, Jorge Batista, Tara Ann Howard, D.O. & John Howard, M.D.'s Agreed Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Plaintiffs' Amended Complaint. 68 . Therein, Defendants Crypto Medical Clinic, Jorge Batista, Tara Ann Howard, and John Howard (collectively, "Movants") seek a thirty (30) day extension to November 9, 2026, to respond to the Amended Complaint 53 . See 68 at 2. In support thereof, Movants contend that they are discussing a possible resolution with Plaintiffs' counsel and agreed with Plaintiffs on this extension to "conserve limited time and resources towards reaching a possible resolution." Id. Plaintiffs do not oppose the requested relief. Id. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion 68 is GRANTED.    Order on Motion to Withdraw as Attorney

   PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Attorney Abraham Ovadia's Renewed Motion to Withdraw as Counsel for Defendant Yosnely Pereda Sosa. 67 . Therein, Attorney Ovadia seeks to withdraw as counsel of record in this matter for Defendant Pereda Sosa because of "irreconcilable differences... between counsel and Defendant [Pereda Sosa]." Id. at 2. On September 23, 2026, the Court ordered Defendant Pereda Sosa to notify the Court as to whether she has retained new counsel or decided to proceed pro se in this action on or before October 7, 2026. See (ECF No. 61). The Court also instructed Attorney Ovadia to renew his motion to withdraw on October 8, 2026, with a detailed affidavit regarding his attempts to reach his client. Id. Attorney Ovadia filed such an affidavit with the Court on October 8, 2026, describing his efforts to contact his client and providing a timeline for the breakdown in their relationship. (ECF No. 67-1) at 2. Defendant Pereda Sosa has not filed any notice with the Court, so pursuant to the Court's Paperless Order (ECF No. 61), the Court presumes she intends to proceed pro se. Id.
   
   It is within a district court's discretion to permit or deny a motion to withdraw as counsel. See Patnaude v. Sears Pest Control, Inc., No. 08-61980-CIV, 2009 WL 10667065, at *2 (S.D. Fla. May 13, 2009); Reagan v. TitleMax of Ala., Inc., No. 5:09-cv-91/RS-MD, 2010 WL 11530503, at *1 (N.D. Fla. Apr. 15, 2010) (citing Baker v. Coto, 154 F. App'x 854, 858 (11th Cir. 2005)). Here, given that Defendant Pereda Sosa "[does] not wish to speak with [Attorney Ovadia]" and "no longer wishe[s] to retain [him]," the Court finds good cause to permit Attorney Ovadia to withdraw. (ECF No. 67-1) at 1-2. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion 67 is GRANTED. Abraham Ovadia is relieved of all further responsibilities related to this action. The Clerk of Court is INSTRUCTED to REMOVE Abraham Ovadia as counsel of record for Defendant Yosnely Pereda Sosa.
