Motion
MOTION by Movant Shannon McQuarter to quash or modify subpoena (contested)
Presented before Magistrate Judge
Minute
MINUTE entry before the Honorable Daniel P. McLaughlin: Non-Party Shannon McQuarter's Motion to Quash or Modify Subpoena, for a Protective Order and Other Relief 466 is stricken without prejudice for failure to comply with Local Rule 37.2 and this Court's standing order. Judge McLaughlin's pertinent standing order makes clear that the Court will not hear or consider any discovery motion unless the parties have complied with the meet and confer requirement under Local Rule 37.2. The standing order requires that any discovery motion must state with specificity when and how the movant complied with Local Rule 37.2 by separate certificate filed with the motion and attested to by the attorney. Ms. McQuarter's motion states that "[t]he parties have conferred" but does not otherwise meet these requirements. Additionally, the motion indicates that Ms. McQuarter has retained Plaintiffs' counsel Eric Onyango to represent her regarding the subpoena in question. The Court directs counsel Onyango to file an appearance for Ms. McQuarter before filing any subsequent motion on her behalf. Mailed notice(maf) (Entered: 06/23/2026)
