ORDER: Currently pending before the Court is Plaintiff's request for a sum certain default judgment against Defendants Sheila Reed ("Reed") and Dimensions Family Practice LLC ("Dimensions"). Plaintiff's letter 19 indicates this case is stayed as to Reed, who has filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy, but requests the case move forward against Dimensions. To avoid inconsistent judgments, the default judgment motion 17 is denied without prejudice to renewal upon lifting of the stay as to Reed. See Moore v. Booth, 122 F.4th 61, 70 (2d Cir. 2024) (citing Frow v. De La Vega, 82 U.S. 552, 554 (1872)). Any subsequent motion for default judgment should be filed no later than 60 days following the lifting of the stay as to Reed.
