Order
ORDER ON DEFENDANTS ROCKET MORTGAGE, LLC'S 8 AND LAKEVIEW LOAN SERVICING, LLC'S 17 MOTIONS TO DISMISS by Judge Wesley L. Hsu: Both Motions to Dismiss are GRANTED with leave to amend. Because Plaintiffs did not respond to the majority of Rockets and Lakeview's arguments, the Court did not consider most of Plaintiffs' claims on the merits. The Court notes, however, that if Plaintiffs wish to file an amended complaint, they must do more to meet the requirements of Rule 8(a)(2), such as making allegations as to each Defendant specifically instead of conflating all three Defendants throughout. (See, e.g., Compl. paragraph 13 (alleging that Plaintiffs called "Defendants" seventeen times over several months to try to enter a forbearance program)). If Plaintiffs elect to file an amended complaint, it is due within 21 days of the entry of this order. (bm)
