MINUTE ORDER (by docket entry only). On June 24, 2026, Non-party J. Walker & Associates, LLC filed a response in opposition, [Doc. 19], to Plaintiffs Objection to Attorneys' Lien and Motion to Strike and or Dismiss the Lien, [Doc. 15], filed on May 29, 2026. J. Walker & Associates already filed a response in opposition to Plaintiff's Motion, [see Doc. 16], to which Plaintiff filed a reply, [Doc. 17]. Therefore, though not styled as such, J. Walker & Associates' second response is a surreply, which is authorized by neither the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure nor this Court's Local Rules and may only be allowed at the discretion of the Court. Fedrick v. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, 366 F. Supp. 2d 1190, 1197 (N.D. Ga. 2005). Accordingly, because J. Walker & Associates never sought leave from the Court to file a surreply, the Court DECLINES TO CONSIDER its June 24 response, [Doc. 19], in ruling on Plaintiff's Objection and Motion to Strike or Dismiss the Lien, [Doc. 15], which remains under advisement.
