Order
ORDER: Mr. Lassiter filed a "renewed motion to reissue summons." (Doc. 26 ). The motion asks the court to direct service using the secondary address. Because the court has already ordered service at the secondary address, the court FINDS AS MOOT the motion. (Id.). Signed by Judge Annemarie Carney Axon on 7/2/2026. (KCW) (Entered: 07/02/2026)
ORDER: The court ordered Mr. Lassiter to provide an address for service and warned him that "failure to provide an accurate address that allows the Marshals to properly serve the defendant may result in dismissal of this action." (Doc. 11 ). Mr. Lassiter provided two addresses to serve the defendant. (Doc. 15 ). The U.S. Marshals attempted service on the primary address in Birmingham, Alabama, but the office location was vacant. (Doc. 23 ). Accordingly, the court DIRECTS the Clerk to provide a copy of the summons and operative complaint (doc. 9 ) to the Marshals for service on the defendant at the second address provided by Mr. Lassiter (see doc. 15 ). Signed by Judge Annemarie Carney Axon on 6/25/2026. (KCW) (Entered: 06/25/2026)
