ORDER GRANTING IN PART AND DENYING IN PART PLAINTIFFS' EX PARTE APPLICATION TOEXCEED BRIEF LENGTH AND CONTINUE DEADLINES 335 by Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha: 1. The deadline to file any oppositions to motions for summary judgment is SET to August 3, 2026;2. The deadline to file any replies to motions for summary judgment is SET to August 17, 2026; 3. The parties are not authorized to exceed the word limitations set forth in Local Rule 11-6 and the court's Standing Order (Dkt. 11) for any motions for summary judgment; 4. Plaintiffs may file an omnibus opposition not exceeding 30,000 words to defendants' motions for summary judgment; and 5. The court will vacate hearing dates and take the anticipated motions for summary judgment under submission once any replies are filed. The parties should not expect a further continuance absent a specific showing, dating back to the filing of the Complaint, of all their efforts to complete discovery timely and other litigation activity. This detailed showing must demonstrate the work still to be performed reasonably could not have been accomplished within the applicable deadline(s).
