Crypto Co. To Launch Virtual Insurer For Coin Thefts

Law360, London (March 25, 2020, 5:15 PM GMT) -- A U.S. cryptoasset insurer said Wednesday it will launch its own managing general agent, an insurance platform that allows underwriters to run their own businesses through its infrastructure, and believes it will become the only crypto-specific MGA in the industry.

Evertas, a cryptoasset insurance company based in Chicago, said it will create a managing general agent to deal specifically with theft and loss of the new digital assets.
