UK, Singapore Fintech Groups Sign Cross-Border Agreement
Law360 (November 13, 2018, 6:44 PM EST) -- Organizations representing the U.K.’s and Singapore’s financial technology industries signed an agreement pledging to cooperate with one another on Tuesday, hoping that the cross-border pact will lay the groundwork for faster growth among startups in both countries.
Innovate Finance, a trade group for the U.K.’s fintech industry, and the Singapore Fintech Association signed a memorandum of understanding “to cement greater collaboration” between their respective markets. The organizations said the MOU enables them to share research and hold joint events and programs, among other cooperative ventures.
