Law360, London (November 27, 2018, 5:18 PM GMT) -- The U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority said Tuesday it has permanently canceled the authorization of Larksway Investments Ltd. because the insurance broker failed to comply with an award made by Britain’s financial ombudsman.
Britain’s financial watchdog said Larksway was referred to its enforcement and oversight division in April 2016 because the firm had failed to comply with repeated requests regarding an award in favor of a customer over a home insurance policy.
“We took this action because Larksway failed to deal with the FCA in an open and cooperative way in relation to concerns the FCA had,” the watchdog said Tuesday....
