Global Regulators Aim For More Crypto-Asset Coordination
Law360, London (April 8, 2019, 6:20 PM BST) -- An international body monitoring the global financial system has pulled together a directory of agencies worldwide working to regulate cryptocurrency and other digital assets.
According to the Financial Stability Board's Friday announcement, the information will aid the relevant authorities trying to wrap their regulatory grasp around the fast-growing crypto-asset arena, which includes blockchain. The list will be presented at the G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting on Thursday and Friday in Washington, DC.
