Lloyd's Builds On Insurtech Booster With 11 New Start-Ups

Law360, London (August 2, 2019, 2:06 PM BST) -- Lloyd’s of London has said it will work with 11 new insurance technology start-ups working on projects that include new ways of gauging climate and catastrophe risk.

The insurance market chose 11 teams of so-called disruptors — technology experts who believe they can improve the way insurers assess risk — for its new technology unit, which it launched in 2018 as it hopes to make the most of a booming sector.
