Britvic Trustees Get Court OK For Interim Pensions Pay Deal

Law360, London (September 3, 2019, 5:21 PM BST) -- Soft-drinks company Britvic PLC and the trustees of its pension plan have reached an agreement on the temporary handling of pension rate increases until a lawsuit to determine the legality of future cuts to the program is concluded, new court documents reveal.

The High Court of England and Wales has given the go-ahead for the trustees of Britvic’s occupational pension plan to instruct the administrators to pay increases on all pensions that are already being paid out, in line with a provisional rate requested by the company.
