General Motors has settled the remaining two of six bellwether cases over its deadly ignition-switch defect, including one that was to begin trial in a week, a spokesman for the carmaker said Monday, ending a largely anticlimactic run for a group of New York federal court cases that a year ago had generated keen anticipation.
