Meta, TikTok Can't Escape Suit Over Health Data Tracking
A California federal judge has refused to cut Meta Platforms Inc. and TikTok Inc. from a proposed class action accusing them of illegally collecting personal health information from patients of telemedicine company Hey Favor, finding that the tech giants hadn't shown that the plaintiff had consented to this data-gathering or that she had waited too long to file the suit.
