   The parties jointly move to amend the pretrial conference order, asking to move the deadline for dispositive motions and the trial date to accommodate settlement talks. Dkt. 11 . They report that they have agreed to participate in mediation and have contacted Judge Wiseman about setting a conference for August or September. The court moves deadlines for good cause only, and settlement talks alone generally do not provide good cause. The outcome of any settlement talks or mediation session is uncertain, so moving deadlines solely to accommodate talks may simply cause delay. The court expects the parties to litigate in a way that preserves the case schedule, taking into account settlement talks should those arise. The court will not reset major case milestones for this reason alone. That said, there is some room in the schedule for an extension, but not much. To provide some relief, the court will GRANT the motion in part and move the dispositive motion deadline to October 30, 2026. The parties can move the expert disclosure deadlines by agreement.
