UBS Sued By Ex-Trader Over Alleged Sexual Assault

Law360, London (March 14, 2019, 4:58 PM GMT) -- A former UBS AG employee in London is suing the Swiss bank for sexual harassment and discrimination, accusing the company of mishandling an allegation of sexual assault she brought against a senior colleague.

The former graduate trainee filed papers at the London Employment Tribunal on March 12, according to a statement Wednesday from the woman's lawyers who described particulars of the claim.

The woman, who worked on a trading desk but is identified only as Ms. A, is suing the bank for sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimization after she alleged that she was raped by a colleague more than 20...
