UK Has Just 3 Ways Out of Brexit Deadlock, EU's Barnier Says

Law360, London (April 2, 2019, 10:38 AM BST) -- The European Union warned on Tuesday that the U.K. faces just three choices to free the Brexit process from a deadlocked House of Commons, one being a disruptive "no-deal" departure from the EU without a regulatory relationship or transition period feared by business.

Michel Barnier, the EU's top Brexit negotiator, said in Brussels that the first course would be for British lawmakers to pass Prime Minister Theresa May's negotiated withdrawal agreement, which has been decisively defeated in Parliament three times already. Barnier set an April 10 deadline, the date when EU government heads hold an emergency summit to discuss contingency plans....
