Committee Chair's Libra Worries Not Allayed By Swiss Trip

Law360 (August 26, 2019, 4:01 PM EDT) -- A meeting with Swiss regulators about Facebook's proposed cryptocurrency, Libra, did not assuage U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters' concerns about a private "alternative global currency," with Waters saying in a statement the House Committee on Financial Services will continue to probe the matter.
