FourKites Inc., the Illinois Supreme Court issued its decision in the case. It affirmed the 2022 ruling of the Appellate Court of Illinois, First District, that emails from several persons affiliated with FourKites — a business competitor of the plaintiff — to an officer and two board members of Project44 constituted publications that supported claims of defamation per se against the defendant.[1]...
